I had the honor of designing the artwork which was etched into a 10 x 5 foot piece of black granite that stands as the centerpiece of the Stafford County Armed Services Memorial, located on the grounds of the County Courthouse in Stafford County, VA. The art piece was selected as a result of a competition among local artists. After creating many sketches to refine the layout, the final image was produced as a black and white painting. Once completed, a scan was taken and sent to the memorial company for etching.
